About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Research & Development Engineer to support R&D and engineering activities in our semiconductor production environment. This role bridges hands-on experimentation, data-driven analysis, and continuous improvement. You will be involved in validating new processes, supporting technology trials, and collaborating with senior engineers to enhance device performance and manufacturing capability.
This position is ideal for candidates interested in semiconductor technology development and engineering innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Support R&D and engineering teams in developing and validating process improvements and new technologies.
Conduct experiments, data collection, and analysis to evaluate process stability and performance.
Participate in process characterization, DOE studies, and engineering trials.
Assist in troubleshooting issues by performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and reports for engineering reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as process, equipment, quality, and production to support technology ramp-up and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields (Materials, Chemical, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills interest in semiconductor R&D.
Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing concepts is a plus.
Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, Python, JMP, Minitab) is advantageous.
Good communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
Willingness to work in cleanroom or laboratory environments when required.
