Research Associate

We are currently partnering with an investment firm that is seeking to hire a Research Associate to join their team in Singapore.

This role offers exposure to investment and equity research, providing support across industry research, financial modeling, information maintenance, and trade execution activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on current and potential investments through financial analysis, expert interviews, and primary research
• Use AI tools, Excel, and analytical models to support investment decision-making
• Assist Portfolio Managers with investment strategy, portfolio construction, and ongoing monitoring
• Prepare clear and concise reports and presentation materials
• Coordinate trade execution with sell-side counterparts in a non-discretionary capacity

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in investment research, equity analysis, business analysis, or a related field
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Python is a plus
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
• Solid understanding of financial and business fundamentals
• Comfortable handling large datasets
