About the Lab
The Youth Affective Neuroscience Lab at the School of Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, conducts interdisciplinary research to advance understanding of adolescent mental health through neuroscience, psychology and computational approaches. The lab employs multi-modal methods, including neuroimaging, behavioural and digital data, to investigate emotional and cognitive development and to inform early detection and intervention strategies for youth mental health.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated Research Assistant / Associate to support research projects in adolescent mental health and affective neuroscience.
The successful candidate will:
Coordinate participant recruitment and research data collection
Manage and maintain high-quality behavioural and neuroimaging datasets
Support statistical analyses and research documentation
Assist with grant administration, ethics submissions and project coordination
Contribute to scientific publications, conference presentations and grant deliverables
Support laboratory communications, outreach activities and website management
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Data Science or a related field
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience with statistical programming (Python, MATLAB or R) is preferred
Experience working with neuroimaging data is advantageous
Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
Interest in adolescent mental health and interdisciplinary research
