Job Description

School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. We are looking for a research associate to advance innovative research on the application of pinching antennas in wireless communications. The role will focus on designing, modeling, and evaluating pinchingantenna-enabled systems to enhance signal efficiency, channel capacity, and network performance for next-generation wireless technologies.

The successful candidate will conduct theoretical research, collaborate with faculty and researchers in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and contribute to high-impact publications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake research and development necessary to achieve the goals of the research project in pinching antennas and NTU's responsibilities.

  • Preparation of conference and journal papers for publication of project findings.

  • Collaborate with the colleagues in School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the area of wireless communications.

  • Participation in all project meetings preparation and presentation of talks, posters and reports to disseminate the results of these studies.

  • Participation in national and international conferences and workshops to present the results of the project to a wider audience and to learn about current advances in the field.

  • Any other duties appropriate to the grade as delegated by the Principal Investigator

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • Knowledge of pinching antennas, wireless communications, and machine learning

  • Strong analytical, research, and scientific writing skills

  • Proficiency in Python for modeling and machine learning applications

  • Effective communication, teamwork, and presentation abilities

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet research milestones and deadlines
