Key Responsibilities:
Assist in computationally solving electrodynamics problems involving electron-photon and electron-matter interactions in the extreme ultraviolet (EUV) regime
Assist in developing new, efficient software for modeling unprecedented electromagnetic phenomena, using languages such as C++ and Python
Collaborate with senior researchers to formulate new theories pertaining to EUV generation, obtained ab initio from Maxwell's equations and quantum electrodynamics/quantum field theory
Lead papers and publish in high-impact journals
Present at top-tier international conferences
Assist PI in writing grants and provide logistical support pertaining to laboratory operation for the project.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in physics, mathematics, engineering or related field
Strong background in electrodynamics simulations techniques
Strong background in C++, Python or similar languages
Strong background in theoretical physics and mathematical physics
Good written and oral communication skills
Competent in teamwork and presenting results in informative visuals
Interpersonal skill: Ability to work under pressure, Ability to work independently, develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and eye for details, excellent organizational / time management skills
