RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a comprehensive dataset on entrepreneurship with the research team.
- Conduct data cleaning, and verification using Stata and python.
- Mentor a team of six to eight research assistants, providing guidance on data collection and variable coding and ensuring the accuracy of their work.
- Contribute to the writing and preparation of the dataset description paper in collaboration with the research team.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in conducting quantitative research.
- Good understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship research.
- Basic knowledge of academic writing.
- Proficiency in Stata for data cleaning and analysis.
- Experience in data collection, cleaning and applying reproducible research practices.
- Proficiency in reading Chinese-language (Mandarin).
- Experience using python for data cleaning is a plus.
- Ability to guide and mentor a team of undergraduate assistants.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinating closely with the research team.
