It is a collaboration between the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Thales, bringing together researchers and students from France and Singapore. The research focus of this joint laboratory is towards the development of innovative nanotechnologies and nanomaterials for various electronic and photonic applications.
Here, we are looking for a Research Associate to prepare and characterize 2D ferroelectric materials. The role will focus on the preparation and fundamental characterization of 2D ferroelectric transition metal dichalcogenides to promote the development and application of 2D ferroelectric devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 2D ferroelectric transition metal chalcogenide.
Characterize the ferroelectric polarization with both PFM and P-E loop methods.
Confirm the polarization switch with electrical pulses.
Demonstrate reconfigurable photoresponsivity of the samples.
Collect and analyze the result.
Draft manuscript and project reports based on the results.
Mentor undergraduates or master students under this project.
Job Requirements:
Master (for Research Associate equivalent) qualification degree in electronics or related field
At least 2 years of technical hands-on experience in 2D ferroelectric materials characterization
Good publication on 2D ferroelectric materials and devices is necessary.
Familiarity with lithography, 2D materials transfer and PFM characterization
Good written and oral communication skills
