Research Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Engineer to join our interdisciplinary team on an exciting project exploring digital knitting for healthcare wearables.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, prototyping, and validating digital knitted wearables, contributing to cutting-edge research at the intersection of engineering, healthcare, and smart textiles.

We seek candidates from engineering backgrounds who has experiences in healthcare device design, fabrication and characterization. The below key responsibilities may be adjusted according to the shortlisted candidates technical strengths:

• Device Design & Fabrication: Develop and prototype textile-based wearable devices using digital knitting and advanced fabrication techniques. Candidates with research experiences in healthcare wearables signal, data processing are preferred.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Engage with researchers in biomechanics, engineering, and healthcare to translate research into practical applications.
• Publication & Dissemination: Prepare research findings for journal publications, conferences, and stakeholder presentations.
