Depending on their abilities and preferences, this person also may represent the Centre externally,whether in the media, professional organisations, government or other forums.
Other ad-hoc administrative duties as required by the Centre.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (for research assistant) and Master's degree (for research associate).
Background in economics or social sciences preferred.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Well-trained in research methods.
Quantitatively trained, with experience of STATA or SPSS.
Detail-oriented with exacting standards to maintain accuracy and impartiality in all work products.
Ability to work independently to carry out special projects from start to finish.
Ability to balance numerous tasks simultaneously and is organised.
Clear capacity to train and develop skills in coworkers.
Ability to work cohesively and effectively in a team setting and take a leadership role in managing the work of colleagues when needed.
Editorial judgment and proven ability to communicate research methodology and survey results clearly andconcisely in the Centre's style in both verbal and written form.
Interest in expanding skills to cover new analytical tools and methods.
