Job Description
We are seeking a Research Assistant to support research in machine learning and operations research, with a focus on multi-agent reinforcement learning and stochastic inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on multi-agent reinforcement learning.
- Complete both the queueing version and the general version of the research project.
- Support the completion and submission of a paper on stochastic inventory control with latent queues.
- Perform mathematical analysis, programming, simulation, and model development as needed.
- Collaborate with team members on research design, implementation, and writing.
- Contribute to preparing research outputs, including reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
Qualifications
- A completed bachelor's degree in management science, business, computer science, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Evidence of the ability to conduct high-quality research.
- Strong background in mathematics and programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
