Research Assistant (Neuroscience)

We are hiring a Research Assistant to join our lab at Duke-NUS Medical School (Neuroscience & Behavioural Disorders Programme).

Our lab studies synaptic function and dysfunction in neuropsychiatric disorders—including autism, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer's disease—using cutting-edge molecular biology, genome editing, electrophysiology, advanced optical imaging, and computational approaches.

We are looking for a motivated individual with research assistant experience and a strong background in molecular and cell biology, electrophysiology, or computational data analysis. Experience in mouse handling, neuronal culture, cloning, Western blotting, qPCR, imaging, or bioinformatics would be an advantage. Experience with lab operations (procurement, inventory, and safety documentation) and familiarity with the NUS/Duke-NUS environment would also be a bonus.
