Job Description
To support with recruitment, administration and data collection of experiment on the efficacy of training approach on cognitive abilities, along with assisting in design, analysis, assessment, and reporting of future experiments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit for, schedule, and run behavioral, EEG, and eye-tracking experiments.
- Must work well with people, both participants and other members of the research team.
- Help to prepare and manage experimental documents (IRB applications, consent forms, reimbursement sheets, etc) and reports for funders and the scientific community.
- Assist in data management and processing (e.g., coding or scoring of surveys).
- Perform literature review and communicate learnings to the lab.
- Analyze and visualize data in R, Matlab, or Python.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Psychology, Data Science, Life Science, or other relevant field.
- 2 years in relevant experimental / analytical research work.
- Experience in conducting human behavioral experiments.
- Reliable, responsible, and proactive at solving problems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, both academic and informal.
- Familiarity with analysis software such as R, Matlab, and/or Python.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and interpretations (e.g., ANOVA, linear regression, etc).
- Experience in EEG or eye-tracking research is a plus.
