Job Description

Job Summary

Support molecular and microbial research activities by maintaining microbial cultures and applying molecular biology techniques to generate reliable data for scientific analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform molecular biology techniques including qPCR primer and probe design, gene alignment, and DNA/RNA extraction to support research objectives
  • Maintain microbial cultures to ensure viability and accuracy for experimental use
  • Apply bioinformatics tools to analyze genetic data and support research findings
  • Conduct microbiology testing following standard protocols to generate valid results
  • Utilize statistical analysis methods to interpret experimental data and contribute to research conclusions
  • Demonstrate precise pipetting and laboratory skills to maintain experimental accuracy
  • Work independently and proactively to manage assigned research tasks and troubleshoot issues

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science or related field
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience fresh graduates are welcome
  • Basic knowledge of molecular biology and microbiology testing principles
  • Basic skills in microbial culturing
  • Detail-oriented with good laboratory technique
