We are looking for research assistants to conduct research in the areas of safety-critical control theory and machine learning. The role will focus on combining new theory or method in nonlinear system control and state-of-the-art machine learning systems, with applications to various robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research in the area of control theory and machine learning
Conduct experiments on different robotic platforms
International collaborations in the above areas
Publish papers in related top journals and conferences
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in control theory, machine learning, robotics, or related field
Familiarity with nonlinear systems and control theory/state-of-the-art machine learning systems (diffusion, transformers, etc.)/robotics.
Good written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in programing (e.g., Python) and machine learning tools (e.g., PyTorch)
