We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual to join the Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute (NEWRI) as a Research Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research teams and projects to achieve defined objectives and deliver impactful outcomes.

  • Conceive and develop novel research ideas to push the frontiers of biotechnology and bioprocesses.

  • Oversee and monitor project progress, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time.

  • Engage, manage, and liaise with stakeholders, including funding agencies, industry partners, and academic collaborators.

  • Supervise and mentor graduate students, while contributing to grant proposal preparation and research publications.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.

  • Prior experience in biotechnology or bioprocesses related work will be preferred.

  • Project management and data analytic skills.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
