RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for School of Social Sciences (SOSS).
- Conducting reviews of academic and grey literature (media reports, white papers, policy documents).
- Assist with qualitative data collection, including interviews and observations.
- Organize and manage data gathering for the project.
- Support qualitative data coding and thematic analysis using established research frameworks.
- Contribute to research reports, presentations, manuscripts, and other project deliverables.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in sociology, global studies, or other related disciplines.
- Experience in conducting in-depth interviews.
- Ability to identify and review academic writing and scholarship.
- Knowledge of qualitative data analysis software such as NVivo.
- Strong attention to detail in organizing research material and data.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Knowledge of and experience working in Southeast Asia.
- Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia.
