Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and analytical Research & Programme Strategist to join the Programmes‑X team. This role plays a critical part in strengthening the research grounding, impact measurement, and strategic relevance of Focus on the Family Singapore's programmes and content. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with both quantitative and qualitative data, and be able to translate research insights into actionable recommendations for programmes and content.
Responsibilities:- Design and conduct impact measurement for Focus core programmes, including evaluation frameworks, data collection, and analysis of findings to assess impact.
- Identify, review, and synthesise academic and applied research on family, marriage, parenting, youth, and social issues, producing insights and findings that inform organisational strategy.
- Conduct rigorous research to curate journal articles and case studies that contribute towards content development.
- Analyse research data, social trends, and public sentiment, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Support the development and refinement of marriage, parenting, and youth programmes, ensuring these are grounded in research and responsive to emerging needs.
- Design and conduct qualitative research such as focus groups and interviews to surface constituent perspectives.
- Support Focus key events and undertake other projects as directed by the CEO, Chief, Impact and Lead, Programmes-X.
Requirements:- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Sciences, Research, or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in research, programme evaluation, or applied social research
- Familiarity with local family life issues and trends
- Strong command of the English language with excellent writing skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to meet deadline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
