Description
We have an opening in our Research team for a Senior Associate or Vice President to conduct research into Vietnamese companies, sector coverage will be broad however primarily focus will include Consumer, Industrials and Financials sectors. This position will be based in Singapore.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Report to the Lead Analyst
- Perform thorough research on the assigned sectors, including sector analysis, investment recommendation
- Perform company, sector research, including commercial & financial analysis, and equity valuation
- Develop and maintain close relationship with foreign institutional clients
- Engage in public relation and marketing activity to promote the Jefferies's brand image and reputation including presentation to clients in Vietnam and abroad
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Vietnamese language skills for partnership and analysis of local companies.
- Good understanding of Vietnam's financial markets
- Strong finance and accounting background. Minimum 3-6 years of work experience in investment analysis. Candidates with working experience in an international and diverse environment preferrable.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, banking or economics. MBA or CFA is an asset.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, ability to perform qualitative industry and business analysis
- Team player and able to work with other sector Researchers.
