Job Description

. We are seeking a skilled and versatile SAP CDS Developer with strong expertise in both SAP BOBJ/WebI reporting and S/4HANA ABAP development.

. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring reports and applications that meet critical business process and reporting requirements.

. You will work across the full stack-from Core Data Services (CDS) views and ABAP on HANA to SAP Fiori UI development and system performance optimization.

. This is a hands-on technical role for a developer who thrives on solving complex reporting challenges, optimizing system performance, and delivering high-quality solutions in an S/4HANA environment.

Required Skills

. SAP ABAP on HANA Strong practical experience with ABAP development in S/4HANA environments, including modern coding practices, performance optimization, and database-aware programming.

. Core Data Services (CDS) - Enhancement & Development Expertise in developing and enhancing CDS views for reporting purposes, with a deep understanding of data modeling, associations, annotations, and consumption layers.

. SAP BOBJ / WebI Reports Development Proven ability to design, build, and enhance SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) and Web Intelligence (WebI) reports to meet diverse business reporting needs.

. SAP Fiori (Enhancement & Development) Experience in SAP Fiori UI development, particularly in building and enhancing Fiori applications related to reporting solutions.

. System Performance Optimization & Tuning Strong skills in performance tuning and optimization across reports, CDS views, and ABAP programs to ensure efficient system operation and fast response times.

Good-to-Have Skills

. ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) - Experience with modern RAP modeling

. IDOC, Web Service, and OData - Integration experience using standard SAP technologies

. SAP Workflow (Classic / Flexible) - Knowledge of workflow design and configuration

. Standard Report Development (ALV, OOP) - Experience building classic and object-oriented ALV reports

Key Responsibilities

. Reporting & Report Development Design, build, and configure reports and applications to meet business process and reporting requirements Support SAP BOBJ / WebI reports development and enhancement Ensure reports are optimized for performance and meet user expectations

. CDS View Development Develop and enhance Core Data Services (CDS) views for reporting purposes Model data efficiently using associations, annotations, and consumption views Ensure CDS views are optimized for HANA performance

. ABAP on HANA Development Perform S/4HANA ABAP development to support business requirements Write efficient, modern ABAP code leveraging HANA database capabilities Implement enhancements, custom programs, and reports as needed

. SAP Fiori UI Development Support SAP Fiori UI development related to reporting solutions Enhance existing Fiori applications or build new ones to improve user experience Collaborate with UX teams to align with design standards

. RAP Modeling (as required) Perform RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model) modeling where required Build modern, service-based applications using RAP patterns

. Performance Optimization Conduct system performance tuning and optimization for: Reports (BOBJ / WebI) CDS views ABAP programs Identify bottlenecks and implement efficient solutions

Qualifications & Experience Education

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

. Experience 5-8 years of SAP development experience, with a focus on S/4HANA, ABAP, and reporting

. Proven track record in CDS view development and SAP BOBJ/WebI reporting Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori development and enhancement

. Strong background in performance tuning and optimization
