Role Overview
The Report Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying reports for a stock trading system. This role involves working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Analysis:
- Collaborate with business teams to gather and validate reporting requirements.Understand data source mapping and transformation logic.
- Report Development:
- Design and implement 100 reports using agreed tools and frameworks.Ensure reports meet documented business requirements and comply with BANK'S standards.
- Testing & UAT Support:
- Prepare test cases and validate reports during UAT.Address defects and implement fixes promptly.
- Deployment & Documentation:
- Execute production deployment following BANK'S change management processes.Maintain rollback plans and deployment documentation.
- Collaboration:
- Work with Bank's teams for access to systems and environments. Provide regular updates and utilization reports as required.
RequiredSkills & Experience
- Strong experience in report development for financial or trading systems.
- Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, data transformation, and ETL concepts.
- Hands-on experience with reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with stock trading workflows and financial data structures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during UAT and production deployment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in credit pool model projects or time-based service engagements.
- Knowledge of Banks technical environment and compliance standards.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in IT support.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organized with a strong focus on following prescribed processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in IT development, preferably in banking or financial services with minimal 3 years of report development experience.
- Lead to have experience in leading a team of minimum 6 members.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across teams.
