Initiate and develop new repairs on aero-engine components.
Prepare and maintain work instructions for aero-engine component repairs.
Perform tooling design.
Ensure compliance to OEM technical data and regulatory requirements.
New machine and process qualifications
Process improvements to improve process robustness, process efficiency and repair yield
First Article inspection Reports
Take the lead and provide guidance to the production team in Repair development.
Actively participate and support continuous improvement / Kaizen projects
Multi-task other engineering-related duties as assigned.
Comply with the company's health and safety rules and regulations
Qualifications:
At least 5-6 years experience in an aerospace repair and overhaul environment.
Knowledge of repair processes such as Welding (TIG/EBW), Thermal Spray, Heat Treatment, Brazing, High Pressure Water Jet Stripping, Chemical Cleaning, Shot peening, Machining, etc. will be a plus.
Highly motivated professional who is able to work within a cross-functional team.
Education Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
