JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary roles
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in oilfield equipment repair within the oil & gas industry.
- Proven leadership capability with experience supervising teams, coordinating field/service operations, and managing multiple projects concurrently to ensure safe, efficient and timely execution of work.
- Provide guidance and advice to the repair chargehands and technicians to ensure repair of the equipment are done accordingly to NOV specification and procedure.
- To ensure all equipment are tested as per NOV test procedure or FAT documents with the presence of customer representative.
- To ensure all upgrades and PIBS are implemented on the repaired equipment.
- To ensure all necessary aftermarket repair forms D9documents) are used for the repair process.
- Communicate and liaise with Engineering / QC Engineer on any related issue pertaining to repair procedure / upgrades / implementationof PIBS and testing procedure.
- Communicate and liaise with internal machine shop and/or vendors on repair scope of work and necessary WPS etc for their submission of quotation to NOV.
- Compilation of inspection reports and final reports for all repaired / overhauled equipment.
- Assisting in preparation of quotations (scope of work& recommended part list) for all repair/overhaul jobs.
- Provide assistance and solution for technical inquiry from internal machine shop / vendors / customers.
- Continuous improvement on work processes.
Secondary roles
- Ensure root cause analysis on HSE issues are carried out and
- Completed on time in the absence of Supervisor.
- Competency assessor / SWIT team member / ERT roles.
- To witness critical process/ quality plan hold points at vendor place if necessary.
Requirement
- diploma / degree and 10years of experience or its equivalent
