Purpose of the Job
To coordinate repair workflow in workshop.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Pre-Job Planning:
. Lead thorough planning efforts before the receipt of rotating equipment in the workshop. This includes sourcing materials, arranging necessary manpower, and coordinating site support to ensure smooth job execution. Inspection and Reporting:
. Ensure inspections are conducted in accordance with Sulzer's standards. Generate as-found reports based on customer requirements, detailing necessary repairs, and creating material requisitions for parts and services needed for repairs.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
. Work closely with sales, tendering, engineering and retrofit teams to prepare repair/retrofit quotations that adhere to customer requirements, including lead time and budget constraints.
Coordination of Materials and Spare Parts:
. Maintain effective coordination internally and externally to ensure that spare parts and repair items meet customer requirements, utilizing pull principles and Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory practices.
Customer Relationship Management:
. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while safeguarding Sulzer's interests. Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and prompt resolution of issues.
Opportunity Identification:
. Explore and identify new opportunities for retrofit solutions and OEM-X parts, contributing to business development and customer satisfaction.
Quality Assurance:
. Ensure all repaired items and spare parts meet Sulzer's quality standards before being supplied or reassembled.
Assembly and Documentation:
. Coordinate the assembly of refurbished components, ensuring schedules are met. Compile relevant data sheets and inspection checklists throughout the process. Upon job completion, finalize the document package for customer submission, ensuring all requirements are met.
Team-up as on workshop:
. Collaborate closely with workshop technicians to maintain a positive work environment and ensure the smooth execution of daily workshop activities
Education requirements:
. Degree / Diploma in engineering
Job experience:
. 5 years work related experience mainly in repairing rotating equipment
Knowledge requirements (professional, technical, language):
. Fluent English
. Microsoft Office, Project, AutoCAD, Engineering knowledge, Non-destructive test, WPS, WPQR
