Job Duties
- Remotely monitor autonomous vehicle operations in real-time using specialized software, dashboards, and control interfaces
- Intervene remotely to assist vehicles in complex or unexpected scenarios
- Log incidents, anomalies, and performance metrics for continuous improvement
- Follow safety protocols and escalation procedures during emergencies or system failures
- Conduct system checks to ensure remote interfaces and monitoring tools are functioning correctly before and during operations
- Communicate effectively with field teams, support staff, and engineering teams to resolve operational issues and coordinate interventions
- Maintain detailed records of interventions, system alerts, and operator actions for audit and analysis purposes
- Perform any ad hoc duties assigned
Job Requirements (add rows where required)
- A valid Class 3 driving licence
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in operating multiple software applications simultaneously in a fast-paced or mission-critical environment
- Strong multi-tasking, situational awareness, and decision-making abilities under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and operate new systems and interfaces related to autonomous vehicle technology
- Prior experience in remote operations, dispatch, or control room environments is a plus
- Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
