Summary:
We are seeking a Deployment Expert to manage deployment activities and CI/CD pipelines for IT systems. You will ensure the availability and functionality of non-production environments (DEV, INT, SIM, UAT), manage incident resolution, and collaborate with teams to enhance deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment & CI/CD Management:
- Ensure S2I system availability in non-production environments.
- Manage incident resolution for environment and deployment issues.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and tools using GitLab, Jenkins, and XL Deploy.
- Debug release and deployment issues, including merge conflicts and Jenkins jobs.
Automation & Collaboration:
- Troubleshoot environment availability and performance issues.
- Automate dashboard reports and provide system status updates.
- Collaborate with teams on BAU and project initiatives.
Technical Expertise:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Administer WAS, MQ, Tomcat, JBoss, and IHS Application Servers.
- Work with UNIX/Linux and Windows OS environments.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in software deployment and CI/CD.
- 1-3 years of core banking experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Unix scripting, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and XL Deploy.
- Experience with COBOL, MySQL, and Jira is a plus.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
