Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and performance-oriented Loan Business Relationship Manager (LBRM) to expand our SME financing portfolio through new client acquisition and relationship management. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, evaluating financing needs, and managing client relationships throughout the entire lending lifecycle.

  • Identify and engage SME businesses seeking unsecured working capital financing solutions.
  • Develop and sustain a healthy sales pipeline through direct prospecting, referrals, networking, and strategic business partnerships.
  • Perform initial credit evaluations by reviewing financial statements, bank records, and ACRA reports.
  • Recommend and structure financing solutions tailored to clients funding requirements and cash flow positions.
  • Oversee the complete sales process, from lead generation and client engagement to application submission, negotiation, approval, and loan disbursement.
  • Collaborate closely with internal credit and operations teams to facilitate efficient processing and execution of financing transactions.
  • Foster strong client relationships after disbursement to encourage repeat business and generate referrals.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, including repayment behaviour, and manage account renewals when required.
  • Undertake any additional duties or projects assigned by management.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in SME financing, unsecured lending, or business loan sales within Singapore.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, securing, and closing unsecured business financing deals.
  • Strong knowledge of SME financial analysis, cash flow assessment, and credit evaluation methodologies.
  • Highly self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working independently in a sales-driven environment.
  • An established network of SME clients, business introducers, brokers, or referral partners will be advantageous.
