About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Relationship Manager to join our Corporate Banking team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be responsible for handling marketing, relationship management, and business development among our existing client base. You will focus on defending and deepening client relationships, cross-selling banking products, and identifying new market opportunities. Additionally, you will manage loan asset quality and assist in restructuring non-performing loan (NPL) accounts when necessary.
What You Will Be Doing
- Actively acquire new Corporate customers
- Review and manage accounts to be assigned or brought in
- Increase new client base to meet assigned target KPIs
- Increase utilization and cross-sell to enhance the Bank's share of wallet
- Proactively monitor credit quality through early problem loan recognition and implement appropriate strategies
- Perform credit reviews on a timely basis
- Provide excellent client servicing
- Work on projects assigned from time to time
- Handle other ad-hoc projects as required
What We're Looking For
- 6 to 10 years of working experience in financial institutions with exposure to Corporate Banking or Credit Risk Management
- Strong networking with corporates
- Good knowledge of banking products
- Certification in Credit Skills Assessment (Moody's) or equivalent preferred but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong planning, organizing, and analytical skills
- Strategic thinker, proactive, and able to multi-task
- Strong credit writing skills
- Ability to build relationships with diplomacy, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Capable of working under high pressure and within a team environment
- Proactive, energetic, result-oriented, and possess strong business acumen
