As an Infrastructure & Utilities sector coverage RM at OCBC, you will be responsible for a portfolio of large corporate customers in the Global Infrastructure & Utilities sector including but not limited to Power, Water and Waste management. You will play a key role in enabling companies to achieve their growth ambitions through innovative financing solutions. How You Succeed

To excel in this role, you&aposll need to take a client-centric, risk-based approach, understanding their business goals and challenges, and providing them with tailored financial solutions.

You will need to have a strong foundation of banking products and be well versed in credit analysis to identify opportunities and come up with solutions independently.

You will need to be comfortable in working with clients and colleagues globally leveraging on your interpersonal skills and resilience to deal with different work cultures. You will need a mindset that is global, resilient, proactive, and relentless, and be expected to manage multiple dynamic tasks, opportunities, and challenges. You will be working closely with clients to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and structure financing solutions that meet their objectives. You&aposll also collaborate with internal stakeholders globally to ensure that deals are executed efficiently and effectively.

Your ability to communicate effectively, think strategically, and work collaboratively will be key to your success.

What You Do

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate clients and assisting in both credit review, origination as well as day to day administrative matters.
  • Maintain regular contact with portfolio clients to better understand their banking requirements with a view to originate new business flow.
  • Closely collaborate with internal partners to develop and deliver customised solutions for customers banking needs, across areas such as deposits, loans, capital market activities, hedging and trade finance.
  • Involvement and leading efforts in the origination and execution of a variety of financing structures, including project finance, acquisition finance, ECA financing, trade and supply chain finance. This will also include working with the loan administration team on documentation negotiations, execution and implementation for drawdowns.
  • Support the team in working on strategic initiatives such as study of new markets and sector trends / outlook for the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Provide exceptional client service, responding to client queries and resolving issues promptly.

Who You Are

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance or accounting.
  • At least 7 - 10 years of experience in corporate banking preferably covering the energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong technical skills, including financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively.
  • Experience working in a global setting with clients and stakeholders from different countries.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Independent, resilient, relentless, collaborative.
