This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a leading regional hub as a Facultative Underwriter to drive portfolio growth and technical excellence across the Asian region. In this position, you will lead the strategic underwriting and development of specialized non-life portfolios across multiple regional markets and manage risk accumulation and exposure control to ensure the long term profitability and sustainability of the business.

You will drive business development by cultivating and maintaining senior level relationships with regional intermediaries and partners, formulate and implement underwriting guidelines and best practices to maintain high standards of quality control.

skills and experience required

• 5+ years of experience handling reinsurance underwriting, ideally in Facultative (property, Casualty, Engineering, Construction)

• Proven track record in managing complex negotiations and regional client portfolios

• Strong academic background in a business related or quantitative discipline

• Demonstrable experience in managing technical project groups and implementing strategic market initiatives
