(Regulatory) Senior Finance Associate

Role OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on and analytical Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of financial operations for our regional entities. This role is critical in ensuring financial integrity, driving process automation through data tools, and maintaining compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Independently manage and prepare the full set of accounts for small to medium-sized entities within the group.

• Operational Oversight: Lead the processing and approval of business expenses, ensuring strict adherence to corporate governance and internal policies.

• Consolidation & Reconciliation: Manage periodic closing activities, including complex intercompany reconciliations and group reporting packages.

• Financial Analysis: Conduct rigorous revenue and expense variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights for risk mitigation.

• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax agents, and internal regional stakeholders.

• Process Improvement: Drive the optimization of finance workflows and systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CA (Singapore) or CPA qualification is highly preferred.

• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, with a strong foundation in managing full sets of accounts.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Knowledge of SQL or Python for data automation and financial modeling is a significant advantage.

• Communication: Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin. This is essential as the role involves frequent collaboration with stakeholders in our North Asian headquarters and reviewing financial documents prepared in Chinese.
