Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit MAS regulatory reports, surveys and compliance returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and support the implementation of new or revised MAS regulations, including maintaining relevant documentation.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including receivables, payables, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Support GST, tax returns, DOS surveys and other statutory reporting requirements.
- Handle back-office and treasury operations, including FX, money market, derivatives, bonds, loans, securities and custody activities.
- Process payment and settlement transactions including SWIFT, FAST, GIRO and wire transfers, while supporting ad hoc operational requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a wholesale or international banking environment.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with MAS regulatory reporting, including MAS 610, MAS 649 and related regulatory returns.
- Good understanding of corporate banking / corporate loan products and related operational processes.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong team player with a positive and collaborative working attitude.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to regulatory changes and take on new responsibilities.
