Prepare and review MAS regulatory returns, including MAS 610, 640, 649 and 755, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Support financial and management reporting, including regulatory data monitoring and reporting activities.
Liaise with tax agents and external auditors to support tax filing and annual audit requirements.
Review accounting schedules, journal entries, employee claims and operating expenses.
Assist with liquidity monitoring, financial controls and Head Office reporting requirements.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and other ad hoc finance projects.
Requirements
Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
Minimum 5-8 years of accounting or finance experience within banking or financial services.
Prior exposure to MAS regulatory reporting (e.g. MAS 610, 640, 649, 755) is highly preferred.
Good understanding of banking products, operations and regulatory requirements.
Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and work with large datasets.
Experience reviewing the work of junior team members or mentoring colleagues is advantageous, though prior people management experience is not required.
Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin to support communication with overseas stakeholders.
