Regulatory Reporting & Accounting Officer

Regulatory Reporting

1. Prepare all MAS and other regulatory reports (including surveys)

2. Prepare and monitor daily regulatory compliance summary

3. Maintain documentation for reporting processes and

4. Assist in managing changes arising from new regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation.

Accounting / Taxation

1. Day-to-day accounting e.g. receivables, payables, accruals and prepayments.

2. Maintenance of accounting system and manual standing data

3. Preparation of Financial Statements

4. Assist in preparation of GST and tax returns and schedules

5. Assist in preparation of DOS Surveys

6. Prepare and update existing procedural manuals

Others

Various Back Office Operations

- Process treasury transactions (FX, money market, derivatives, bonds).

- Payment & Settlement Operations (e.g., SWIFT, FAST, GIRO, wire transfers)

- Loans, Securities & Custody operations

- Bank Reconciliation

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years working experience, preferably in a wholesale bank.

2. Tertiary degree, preferably in Banking, finance or accounting.

3. Good knowledge of MAS regulatory reports (610, 649 etc) and corporate loans

4. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)

5. Good team player with positive attitude

6 Willingness to learn and adapt

7 Willingness to help and support others as team
