Job Summary

We're hiring a policy and analysis professional to work on market competition and regulatory matters across telecom, media, and digital sectors. This role focuses on analysing market dynamics, assessing competition issues (including M&A), and contributing to policy frameworks that support a fair and competitive landscape.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Public Policy, Business, Engineering, or related field;
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in consulting, regulatory, policy, or industry analysis roles;
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market/competition analysis or policy evaluation;
  • Proven ability to structure complex issues and develop clear, evidence-based recommendations;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including policy or report writing;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across internal and external parties.

Desired Skill-set

  • Experience in telecom, media, digital platforms, or regulated industries;
  • Exposure to competition policy, regulatory frameworks, or M&A assessments;
  • Background in consulting, government agencies, or corporate strategy functions;
  • Familiarity with economic or market modelling tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis on market structure, competition dynamics, and regulatory issues;
  • Assess competition matters including mergers, acquisitions, and potential breaches of regulations;
  • Support formulation and review of regulatory and competition policy frameworks;
  • Develop policy papers, reports, and recommendations based on data and stakeholder inputs;
  • Engage industry stakeholders to gather insights and validate policy positions;
  • Support implementation and enforcement of regulatory frameworks where required;
  • Monitor industry trends and evaluate impact on policy and regulatory outcomes.
