Responsibilities
- Lead and manage license applications, renewal, and ongoing maintenance of compliance policies or framework required by different jurisdictions.
- Ongoing research on regulatory changes in different jurisdictions, report, propose and implement changes needed for compliance policy accordingly.
- Development and review of compliance policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and regulatory bodies in different jurisdictions, including regular communication and information disclosure.
- Prepare correspondence according to regulatory audits, providing necesssary documentation and explanation.
- Manage service providers in maintaining business entities in different jurisdictions (annual filing, disclosures and changes, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year of regulatory compliance experience in the blockchain, cryptocurrency or FinTech industry.
- Direct experience in license application in at least 1 jurisdiction.
- Good knowledge of AML procedures and proceseses preferred.
- Business proficiency in English, a second language proficiency is a plus.
