(Regulatory) Accounting Manager

Role OverviewWe are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounting Manager to join our regional finance team. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial accounting for our entities, ensuring rigorous adherence to IFRS standards while navigating the evolving landscape of digital finance and web3 operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Independently manage and prepare the full set of accounts for small to medium-sized regional entities.

• Technical Advisory: Draft technical accounting guidance and provide expert advice to cross-functional business and finance stakeholders.

• Policy Development: Develop and maintain IFRS-compliant accounting policies conduct deep-dive research into complex accounting treatments to ensure transparent external reporting.

• Audit Coordination: Lead audit-readiness initiatives and coordinate with external auditors to resolve complex accounting issues related to digital asset operations.

• Regulatory Compliance: Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements, ensuring all documentation strictly adheres to local regulations and professional standards.

• Knowledge Sharing: Develop and deliver internal training modules for the wider finance team on updated accounting standards and industry-specific regulations.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, or ACCA).

• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in technical accounting, financial reporting, or external audit.

• Industry Interest: A strong interest in the evolution of FinTech, blockchain, and digital assets.

• Soft Skills: Proven ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity with a resourceful mindset.

• Language Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to facilitate communication with stakeholders in North Asian markets and to review financial documentation from regional entities.
