JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Regional W&I Broker to join our dynamic team. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to building client relationships and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), with a working understanding of how risk is allocated between parties in transaction documents through warranties, indemnities, and contractual limitations. You will act as a trusted partner between clients and insurers to place W&I policiesensuring coverage aligns with M&A SPA warranties and market standards.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the W&I placement journey from initial scoping through policy binding and post-completion claim support, ensuring seamless execution for clients.
• Drive strategic client engagement directly with buyers and sellers to understand their transaction goals, advise on optimal policy structures, and negotiate competitive pricing that delivers real value.
• Collaborate with legal, financial, and advisory teams to align policy language with SPA warranties and indemnities, mitigating risk and unlocking deal certainty.
• Engage with leading underwriters to secure quotes, guide due diligence, and craft tailored policy terms that meet complex client needs.
• Maintain a strong pipeline through proactive business development, insurer panel management, and market intelligence, positioning yourself as a key player in the regional M&A insurance space.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
• 912 years of experience in insurance broking, underwriting, or finance/ M&A advisory, with a proven track record placing buyer-side and sell-side W&I policies, with notable deal experience
• Deep knowledge of M&A transactions, insurance market, W&I coverage, underwriting principles, SPA warranties, regulatory frameworks, and transactional risk.
• Skilled in financial analysis, market research, risk assessment, and valuation to deliver strategic insights.
• Exceptional client management skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to advise senior stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills to coordinate complex deal timelines, multiple parties, and documentation under pressure.
• Experience in managing complex, high-value transactions end-to-endadvising, placement, negotiation, and post-completion support
• Licensed or certified insurance broker; familiarity with APAC and global markets; W&I-specific experience highly preferred.
