Role Description
A Regional Vice President (RVP) is a senior executive responsible for leading all business operations, revenue growth, and strategic execution across a defined geographic region (e.g., APAC, EMEA, Americas). This role typically sits just below C-suite level and is heavily focused on business performance, leadership, and expansion.
It is common in enterprise companies, SaaS, fintech, logistics, consulting, and multinational corporations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading all commercial and operational activities within a region
- Driving revenue growth, market share, and regional profitability
- Managing country managers, directors, and senior leadership teams
- Executing global strategy at a regional level
- Overseeing sales, marketing, customer success, and operations alignment
- Setting regional targets, KPIs, and performance standards
- Managing large regional budgets and forecasting
- Building strategic partnerships and enterprise client relationships
- Identifying and expanding into new markets within the region
- Reporting regional performance directly to C-level executives (CEO, CRO, COO)
Qualifications (Must-have)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
- 10–20+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, operations, or general management
- Strong experience managing multi-country or regional teams
- Proven track record of revenue growth and business scaling
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial decision-making ability
- Excellent leadership and executive communication skills
- Experience managing large, cross-functional organizations
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise SaaS or CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA or Oracle systems
- Strong background in industries such as technology, fintech, SaaS, logistics, healthcare, or consulting
- Experience working in global matrix organizations
- Exposure to transformation, M&A, or rapid scaling environments
- MBA or executive leadership programs (INSEAD, Harvard, Wharton, etc.) highly valued
- Experience leading teams across regions like Singapore, APAC, US, or EMEA
- Strong board-level reporting and investor communication experience
