Regional Treasury FX & Rates Junior Trader

Job Description:

. FX Risk Management: Oversee FX exposures in the Asia Pacific and Africa regions to mitigate risks.

. Market Analysis: Formulate and update FX and interest rate views and trends, track daily FX rates, monitor key economic data releases, and their impact on FX. Provide weekly FX analytics and support hedging decisions.

. Forecasting and Strategy: Conduct FX and interest rates forecasting, perform hedge cost/benefit analysis, and develop risk management solutions and hedging strategies.

. Interest Rates Risk Management: Manage interest rate risks for underlying exposures such as loans.

. Implementation and Compliance: Implement risk management solutions and ensure compliance by subsidiaries.

. Contract Execution: Execute FX and interest rates contracts related to portfolio-level hedging, trades, and loans.

. Advisory Role: Advise subsidiaries on managing FX exposures related to their trade business and cash balance.

. Reporting: Prepare management reports and presentation decks in Mandarin on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

. Policy Strengthening: Enhance FX and interest rate hedging policies and risk management frameworks.

. Process Improvement: Streamline and automate operational processes and workflows.

. Collaboration: Liaise with Cash Management, Loan, Trades, Commodities, and Finance departments for various initiatives.

. Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform additional tasks as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance/ Business Management with 1-2 years of FX, Interest Rates, Risks Management experience

. Candidates without experience but are willing to learn are welcomed to apply.

. Well-versed in FX and Interest Rates products

. Excellent command in Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders

. Detail-oriented, self-starter, pro-active, team player, independent, critical thinker, problem-solving skills and analytical skills

. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
