Confidential search: A global luxury maison is appointing an experienced Regional Training Manager / Retail Education Manager (Asia) to to lead retail training, Train-the-Trainer delivery, and learning content adaptation across direct retail and distributor-led APAC markets.
Based in its regional hub in Singapore, the role covers product training, selling ceremony, brand rituals, distributor capability building, training effectiveness, and regional trainer community development across its APAC markets (excluding Greater China).
Key Responsibilities
- Roll out product, service, selling ceremony, and brand training programmes across APAC
- Adapt global training content for local retail realities, market maturity, cultural context, and language needs
- Deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions for local market trainers and distributor training teams
- Support distributor markets through direct training, trainer coaching, field follow-up, and reinforcement
- Build and lead a regional trainer community to improve facilitation quality and share market best practices
- Track training effectiveness through feedback, KPIs, field impact, and continuous improvement actions
- Connect Global Training, regional leadership, local teams, distributors, and retail stakeholders with clear field feedback
Key Requirements
- Mandatory: over 10 years of successful track record in luxury beauty training, retail education, niche fragrance, prestige skincare, cosmetics
- Strong exposure to retail training, client experience, product storytelling, service standards, and selling ceremony execution
- Proven ability to train trainers, coach market teams, and adapt global learning content while preserving brand consistency
- Experience across APAC markets, ideally including both directly operated retail and distributor-led environments
- Confident managing HQ, regional, local, retail, and distributor stakeholders in a matrix organisation
- Strong facilitation capability across in-person, digital, and hybrid training formats
- Structured, rigorous, autonomous, and confident using training KPIs, Excel, PowerPoint, and learning tools to measure impact
