Position Summary
The Regional Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth, technical support, product management, market development, distributor management, and demand planning activities for the PHCbi portfolio across selected emerging markets and other assigned territories.
The role works closely with distributors, and internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities, support strategic projects, improve forecast accuracy, and drive sustainable growth across the region. The incumbent serves as the regional technical and commercial specialist for PHCbi solutions, providing product expertise and business support to customers and channel partners.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Distributor Management
- Achieve sales, profitability, and market share targets for assigned territories
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through close engagement with distributors
- Manage and support distributor partners across assigned territories
- Conduct regular business reviews to monitor performance against agreed objectives and sales targets
- Drive distributor capability development through product, application, and sales training
Product Management & Market Development
- Support the growth and expansion of the PHCbi portfolio across assigned markets
- Conduct competitor analysis, market assessments, and pricing reviews to identify growth opportunities
- Support product launches and portfolio expansion initiatives
- Develop product positioning, sales tools, and marketing materials tailored to regional market needs
- Organize and support seminars, workshops, exhibitions, webinars, and other lead generation activities
- Collaborate with factory and regional teams on marketing campaigns and business development initiatives
Demand Planning & Forecast Management
- Develop and maintain rolling sales forecasts for assigned territories
- Consolidate distributor forecasts and market intelligence to support demand planning activities
- Monitor market trends and proactively communicate demand risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and factory teams to ensure product availability and optimize inventory levels
Technical & Application Support
- Serve as the regional technical specialist for the PHCbi portfolio, including Ultra-Low Temperature Freezers, Biomedical Refrigerators, Cryogenic Storage Systems, CO₂ Incubators, and related laboratory solutions
- Provide technical consultation and application support to customers and channel partners
- Support product evaluations, demonstrations activities where required
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, product specialist, application specialist, or product management roles within the life sciences, laboratory, or scientific equipment industries.
- Experience working with distributors and channel partners across multiple countries is preferred.
- Experience in laboratory equipment, cold storage, biobanking, cryogenic storage, cell culture, pharmaceutical, or healthcare-related industries is advantageous.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.
