Responsible for Group entities direct / indirect tax, withholding tax and other compliance work. This includes reviewing various tax returns to ensure up-to-date tax filings. You will work closely with tax advisors / local finance team to ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns.
Monitor various tax liabilities and ensure accuracy of tax provisions for Group entities, and work with treasury team to ensure timely payment.
Provide tax advice for support on Group's business in various jurisdictions.
Partner with business, legal, product, technology and other internal stakeholders to communicate, execute and protect various tax and non-tax initiatives.
Monitor tax developments/updates in various jurisdictions and evaluate impact of changes to the Group entities.
Any other work assigned by manager.
What you'll need
Bachelor's degree or above in Tax/Accounting/Finance/related fields.
Minimum 8+ years of relevant tax experience for international tax (financial industry or big 4 experience is a plus).
Experience and knowledge in broad spectrum tax areas (e.g., GST/VAT, CIT, withholding tax, transfer pricing etc.) is a plus.
