Responsibilities
- Drive the development and implementation of regional tax policies and structures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations while mitigating tax risks. Provide strategic tax guidance on business models and cross-border operations.
- Advise management on tax planning opportunities, M&A, and restructuring activities to enhance business efficiency and value. Monitor and leverage regional tax incentives to optimize the Group's overall tax position.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation, analysis, and reporting in line with Group policy and local regulations. Oversee Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) and ensure compliance with evolving BEPS and global tax requirements.
- Oversee all tax compliance, filing, and audit processes across Asia, ensuring timely submissions and alignment with Group standards. Collaborate with finance teams, tax authorities, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain compliance integrity.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Tax, or related discipline.
- 7+ years experience in international taxation, including 5 years in a Big 4 environment.
- Strong understanding of Asia tax regimes, cross-border taxation, and transfer pricing.
- Proven ability to manage tax authorities and regional compliance matters.
- Strong analytical, advisory, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders is an advantage.
