Regional Talent Development Lead

Role Purpose

The Talent Development Lead (Regional) is responsible for building and scaling talent development and leadership capability initiatives for Atome Financial across the region. This role partners closely with regional business leaders and HR stakeholders to translate business strategy into practical development programmes that accelerate employee growth, strengthen leadership bench strength, and build a sustainable talent pipeline for critical roles.

Key Responsibilities

1) Regional Talent Development Strategy

  • Define and execute a regional talent development strategy aligned to Atome Financial's business priorities and growth plans.
  • Build fit-for-purpose frameworks (career pathways, competency models, skills/role roadmaps) across functions and levels.
  • Identify priority capability gaps and translate them into scalable development solutions for key populations (e.g., high-potentials, critical roles, new managers).

2) Leadership & Manager Development

  • Design and drive leadership development experiences for emerging leaders, people managers, and senior leaders across the region.
  • Partner with external vendors and internal subject matter experts to deliver impactful programmes.
  • Enable succession planning by strengthening readiness of successor talent for key roles through targeted development plans.

3) Learning & Programme Design / Delivery

  • Create blended learning journeys (workshops, cohorts, coaching, mentoring, stretch assignments, on-the-job learning, digital modules).
  • Drive adoption and effective use of learning platforms/tools and continuously improve learner experience.
  • Establish measurement frameworks and evaluate programme impact using data, feedback, and business outcomes.

4) Talent & Performance Integration

  • Support talent reviews, calibration conversations, and high-potential identification processes with strong governance and insight.
  • Provide recommendations on talent risks, bench strength, development gaps, and capability priorities.

5) Stakeholder Management & Regional Enablement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to regional leaders on leadership effectiveness, capability building, and organisational development topics.
  • Collaborate with local HR teams/people partners to ensure regional consistency while adapting to market nuances.
  • Communicate strategy, progress, and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders; maintain strong operating rhythm and visibility.

Requirements

Experience

  • 815+ years in Talent Development, Learning & Development, and/or Talent Management, ideally in fast-growing, technology-driven and/or financial services organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and scaling leadership and talent development programmes across multiple markets.
  • Experience working in matrixed regional environments and managing diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Strategic and structured: able to translate business priorities into practical, scalable programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence at senior leadership level.
  • Data-driven: comfortable defining success metrics, analysing effectiveness, and iterating based on insights.
  • Strong programme design, facilitation, and project management capabilities.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and change in a high-growth environment.
