Title: Regional Supply Chain Director (Global MNC in Medical Device/ Pharmaceutical sector)

Our client is a leading global multinational within the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. As part of its continued regional expansion and transformation agenda, the company is seeking a commercially minded and strategic Regional Supply Chain Director to lead and elevate its end-to-end supply chain capabilities across Asia Pacific.
This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for regional demand and supply planning, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and supply chain transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening supply resilience, driving operational efficiency, and enabling business growth in a highly regulated and fast-evolving healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the regional end-to-end supply chain function across planning, procurement coordination, logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Drive demand and supply planning processes to improve forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, service levels, and working capital efficiency.
- Partner closely with commercial, manufacturing, finance, regulatory, and global operations teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and supply chain execution.
- Develop and implement regional supply chain strategies aligned with global corporate objectives, while adapting to market-specific requirements across the region.
- Champion supply chain transformation initiatives, including process optimization, digitalization, automation, and ERP/advanced planning system implementations.
- Build robust S&OP / IBP processes to enhance visibility, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Establish KPI frameworks and performance dashboards to monitor operational effectiveness, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead risk management and business continuity planning across the supply chain network, ensuring resilience in a complex and regulated environment.
- Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing regional team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders globally and regionally, providing strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant professional certification would be advantageous.
- Proven leadership experience managing regional supply chain operations within a leading multinational pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, or highly regulated industry environment.
- Strong track record in driving large-scale transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across complex regional operations.
- Experience implementing ERP and advanced planning systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar platforms) will be highly valued.
- Deep understanding of demand planning, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and S&OP/IBP processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams within a matrix organization.
- Strategic, analytical, and commercially astute, with the ability to translate operational priorities into business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the gravitas and confidence to engage senior leadership and global stakeholders effectively.
- Strong leadership capability with a passion for talent development and building high-performing teams.
