The Opportunity

Join a global leader in mechanical and electrical drive systems. We are seeking a Regional Service Engineer to provide expert repair, diagnostics, and field support for high-performance gearboxes and power transmission equipment across the mining, wind, marine and other sectors.

Core Responsibilities

• Service & Repair: Full lifecycle maintenance (strip, clean, inspect, test, and assemble) of industrial gearboxes and rotating equipment.

• Diagnostics: Independently establish root causes for industrial and wind power transmission failures.

• Field Operations: Frequent regional travel for site work, exercising on-the-spot technical judgment and client liaison.

• Growth: Participate in ongoing OEM training and professional development.

What You'll Need

• Qualifications: Professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related trade.

• Technical Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings and use workshop measuring tools.

• Industry Knowledge: Proven experience with gearboxes and rotating machinery (Mining, Marine, or Oil & Gas experience preferred).

• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills

• Safety First: A thorough understanding of and commitment to work safety standards.

• Previous Field Service experience and Industrial Gearbox Testing is a plus.

• Certifications in FLT, Dogging, Rigging, or Working at Height are a plus-training provided for the right candidate.
