about the role
Strategic Governance & Business Transformation
This is not a technical configuration role. We are seeking a high-level Business Architect and Leader to act as the bridge between regional business objectives and SAP capabilities. You will lead the Sales & Distribution pillar of our client's Center of Excellence (COE), driving transformation across multiple APAC entities.
- Regional Strategy & Alignment: Serve as the primary COE representative in regional discussions, ensuring business transformation initiatives across APAC sales companies align with global SAP templates.
- Process Standardization: Lead teams to identify and execute process improvements, translating complex business needs into standardized solution concepts for the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle.
- Executive Advisory: Develop and present Executive-Level business cases to senior management, providing clear assessments of ROI, risks, and business value.
- Master Data Governance: Own the regional framework for Master Data, establishing maintenance rules and standards to ensure data integrity and compliance across all entities.
- Project Leadership: Provide functional leadership throughout the project lifecycle, partnering with IT and delivery partners to ensure successful regional rollouts.
skills and experiences
- Leadership: Minimum 8 years of team management experience, specifically within a regional or multi-country environment.
- Functional Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of SAP SD. You must be able to challenge designs and govern outcomes without needing to be hands-on in system configuration.
- Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of SD integration touchpoints with MM (Materials Management) and FI (Finance) from a business governance perspective.
- Transformation Track Record: Participation in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations in a leadership or business-facing role.
- Communication: Exceptional English communication skills. Advanced PowerPoint skills (executive storytelling/pictorial presentations) are mandatory for this role.
- Education & Travel: Degree in Business or IT; ability to travel up to 30% within the APAC region.
