Regional Senior IT Support Specialist, Global Manufacturing

Our client is a leading global manufacturing company specializing in high-precision optical solutions for industrial and semiconductor applications. They are looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist to join their Corporate IT team. Reporting directly to the Regional IT Director, you will be the technical backbone of IT operations, delivering both L1 and L2 support across Windows and Linux platforms while ensuring seamless infrastructure performance for users across the region.

What You Will Do:

• Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and networking issues
• Manage and escalate incidents effectively, ensuring SLA compliance and smooth resolution
• Administer corporate systems including Microsoft 365, Windows clients, and Linux servers
• Support and maintain network devices routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points (Cisco environment)
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades and implementation projects
• Create and maintain IT documentation for knowledge sharing and continuity
• Deliver guidance and training to end users and stakeholders

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in corporate IT support (L1L2)
• Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting capabilities under pressure
• Good knowledge of enterprise networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs), ideally Cisco-based
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows deployment, and ticketing systems
• Exposure to Linux server operations
• Clear communicator who can support both technical and non-technical users
• Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are highly advantageous
