Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead the financial management of a multi-country property development portfolio. This role combines strategic oversight, hands-on finance management, and collaboration with project teams, partners, and stakeholders to drive strong financial performance and governance.
The role offers exposure to multiple markets and development projects while allowing you to influence key commercial and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilitie

Portfolio Performance
  • Oversee financial outcomes for residential projects in various Southeast Asian markets.
  • Shape annual plans, forecasts, project evaluations, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure management receives clear, relevant analysis to guide key decisions.
Commercial & Operational Insight
  • Partner with project teams on pricing strategy, sales progress, cost monitoring, and overall project viability.
  • Identify risks and opportunities across markets and recommend corrective actions.
JV & Partnership Governance
  • Manage financial matters across several joint-venture platforms.
  • Maintain clarity on JV agreements, reporting obligations, and governance requirements.
  • Represent the organisation in partner meetings, ensuring alignment and protecting shareholder value.
Financing & Treasury Interface
  • Support financing activities for development projects together with JV teams.
  • Maintain compliance with group treasury policies and bank covenants.
  • Prepare financing submissions and work closely with Group Treasury on capital structures.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Guide and develop finance professionals across the region.
  • Promote strong internal controls, collaborative ways of working, and analytical excellence.
  • Provide direction on complex operational or cross-border matters.
Strategic Support
  • Contribute to reviews of potential investments, asset disposals, and other corporate initiatives.
  • Lead special analyses or assignments where required.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent; professional certification (CA/CPA/ACCA) preferred.
  • 1015+ years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to real estate development or investment.
  • Strong grounding in joint-venture structures, including reporting, governance, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven capability operating across multiple markets in a regional setting.
  • Strong commercial sensibility, analytical strength, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural, matrix environment and navigate ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated leadership with a focus on coaching, team growth, and cross-market collaboration.
