KEY ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
. Provide quotations to customers, aligned with their freight management needs and in line with (CS)SOP, Geodis and industry policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance and increase revenue.
. Support the review customer's freight requests and selection of appropriate carrier
. Provide pricing proposals for spot and regular quotation requests and maintain related costs
. Support MBR/QBR data and presentation
. CRM super user - maintenance of team pipelines and activities, data quality
. Market Research, when necessary, on specific areas/verticals
. Support the budget and target exercise
. Other related sales admin task related to function.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL AND / OR TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATES
. Diploma/Degree level or above in Logistics/Supply Chain
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
. Prior experience in Freight Forwarding.
. Pricing/Operational experience a plus factor
. At least 2 year's working experience preferably in the Freight Forwarding industry
NECESSARY TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
. Competent in Microsoft Excel
. Good command of written and spoken English
. Good product/industry knowledge
. Good inter-personal skills and customer-focused attitude
